Who We Are

A place to belong, to be set free, and to be sent out on mission.

We hold that faith is meant to be practiced, not merely discussed.

Our four foundations are freedom, worship, relationship and development, and on them we are building a community where you can grow, belong and pursue God’s mission together with others.

FreedomWorshipRelationshipDevelopment
We are convinced that lives are transformed in the presence of God. Our purpose is to help people know Him deeply and discover the calling He has given them. Through worship, community and prayer, we are being formed into the likeness of Christ.

Colossians 1:9–14

Shaped by His Presence.
Guided by His Love.

Where what we lack meets what He provides. On earth, as it is in heaven.

Good to Know

Your questions, answered

When are your Sunday services?

We meet every Sunday at 9:00 AM and 11:00 AM on our campus. If you cannot be there in person, join the 11:00 AM service live online and worship with the New River family from wherever you are.

How early should I get there?

Plan to arrive around 30 minutes before the service. That leaves time to park, pick up a coffee and check your children in. Our team will be there to greet you, answer your questions and help you find a seat before the service starts.

How do you welcome guests with special needs?

Every family deserves a welcoming, inclusive environment, and our NR Access team exists to make that happen. Children’s Ministry has a sensory room for children who need somewhere calmer to regulate. Noise-canceling headphones can be borrowed in the Worship Center by anyone who is sensitive to sound, and the service is live-streamed in the foyer so families can step out at any moment without missing anything. Just tell us how we can help. Full details are on our NR Access page.

What is a Sunday service like?

Services run for roughly an hour and fifteen minutes and include heartfelt worship and solid teaching from the Bible. The atmosphere is relaxed and friendly: come as you are, and expect genuine community, encouragement and the nearness of Jesus.

What is available for guests with mobility needs?

Every family should feel at ease, supported and safe when they visit New River. Our campus has reserved parking for first-time guests, accessible parking, designated spaces for large trucks and motorcycles, plus convenient drop-off and pick-up points. Assistance is available for guests who need help getting around, and parents or caregivers can use a family room if they need a quieter space during the service. NR Access parking can also be arranged on request; families receive an identifier that allows them to use the designated spaces.

What do you offer children, from birth to 5th grade?

At New River Kids, nothing matters more than your child’s safety. We have built a secure, caring environment where children grow in faith and have fun doing it. Every Sunday, children take part in worship, Bible lessons and activities suited to their age, led by trained volunteers who have passed background checks and who are devoted to protecting children and investing in their future.

What do you offer students in grades 6 to 12?

New River Students gathers every Wednesday so that middle and high school students can grow in faith and build strong friendships. Small groups, worship nights and events equip them to follow Jesus boldly at school, at home and in their communities.
